It’s that time of year again where Spring has officially sprung, the days are lighter, the flowers are blooming, and the outdoors is bursting back to life. This means there’s more activities for you and your family to hop into. Eggs-plore endless fun this Easter with activities that are simply ‘hare-raising!’

Easter Adventures at Dunham Massey, Cheshire
The Dunham Massey Easter Adventure Trails is designed for children of all ages in mind.
The trail will feature ten activity stations where your child can explore the world of pollinators. From Bees to Butterflies this trail is perfect for your little ones that are learning about life outdoors. This event will take place from the 3rd of April to the 27th of April from 10am to 4pm within the park and gardens at Dunham Busy. The Easter trail is £3.50 per child and includes a map, and a chocolate egg at the end of your trail. This event does not need to be pre booked, however there are only a limited number of tickets up for grabs, so if this is something that sounds egg-citing, book your Easter trail now!
Easter Adventures at Longshaw, Peak District
Let your imagination fly high as we celebrate the theme of Longshaw’s brilliant birds. The trail includes 10 activity stations around the park starting from the welcome building. Longshaw is in Sheffield near the eastern moors, an area of the Peak District.
The trail is available between Saturday 29th March to Sunday the 27th of April, so you have plenty of time to hop on this event and get tickets. Ticket prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears, and an Easter egg. Ensure you and your little one are well equipped and come dressed for the weather including your outdoor shoes depending on the conditions.
Winstanley Parks Easter Egg Hunt, Wigan
If you’re looking for something that includes a variety of different activities to keep your bunnies happy, the Winstanley Park Egg Hunt is perfect for you.
Start the day with a little sand art crafting before beginning your trail adventure through the woods on the Easter Egg Trail. The trail includes an adventure through the woodland that’s full of hidden surprises. Follow the clues along the trail to reveal all 10 of the items for your Easter basket. At the end of trail, you can swap your basket for a chocolate gift. Along the way you will find little bunnies, hidden eggs and you might even spot the Easter bunny on your journey! Tickets for this event are limited and will need to be pre booked. Under 2’s enter free but are not allowed to partake in the events. Something to note is that due to the nature of the event and the woodland walk, it is not suitable for wheelchairs and prams, suitable clothing and footwear must be worn as the event is weather permitted.
Easter Egg Trail at the House of Binns, Scotland
Cared for by the National Trust in Scotland is The House of Binns. Found in West Lothian in the Scottish countryside, this stunning house looks over the River Forth. Visit this Easter to celebrate and join a variety of fun filled games to win some chocolaty goodies.
There are two trails on offer, one slightly grassier trail and a more courageous trail for those who want to hop around some steep hills and rough terrain. As mentioned, please ensure that you and your little ones are well equipped for the weather as this event is mainly all outdoors. Tickets are £5 plus the booking fee. Adults (14+) go free with allowed access to trail. All children who attend the event must be accompanied by an adult.
