Quick delivery, good price.

The delivery process was fast and efficient. I bought these shoes at a discount too recently to comment on performance. So far, they look okay and feel comfortable with a good grip on the road. All my shoes are the same size but these feel tighter than the others. If I had tried them in a shop, I might have got a larger size. It’s a pity there are no half sizes.

Good solid walking shoes
3_5 out of 5

I'm very happy with my new shoes which are comfortable and look to be hard wearing. My only small criticism would be that I'm not sure they allow the feet to breathe as effectively as some shoes: my feet feel a bit over-warm - but time will tell on that

Comfy and waterproof

Very good. Had these before as they are waterproof and comfy. They will last about a year on (almost) daily use. We have had heels wearing out, splits is the leather and stitching fail but consider that reasonable for the use they get.

Seem good value in sale

Purchased but at present untried. Interior hard & could do with a cushioning insole. Will insert one and hope it doesn't make the shoes too tight.

Great all round walking shoe

This is my second pair of these shoes. The first pair lasted longer than any walking shoe I’ve owned. I find that style wise they work for a wide range of occasions. They are extremely comfortable, waterproof and look good.

Great value for money walking shoes
3_5 out of 5

Had these for over 3 years and they have typically been used when it's wet or cold. Feet, dry and pretty warm - can't fault them.
You do have to Nickwax them once a year and they are slightly losing their shape now and the heel is starting to wear, but they have had quite a bit of punishment.
I did wear them all day in Segovia, Spain when it was chucking down all and they remained dry.
Not used for hiking as I still stick to my hiking boots.
Current discounted price looks like a real bargain.

They work for me!
3_5 out of 5

I have had these for just over 3 months now and although I walk aprox 250 miles a month over all terrains, they still look in reasonable condition (although as expected the heel is wearing down). On my morning walk today I had to walk through 1" deep water for nearly 20 yards and when I got to work my feet where still bone dry! Most so called waterproof shoes I have to return within 2 or 3 weeks! I have read about the stitching problems in previous reviews, but mine still appears to be good, so maybe the problem was with an older version of the shoe.

Fell apart within 2 months !
3_5 out of 5

Lovely walking shoe , extremely comfortable but unfortunately fell apart within 2 months of occasional wear ! The stitching broke around the seam at the front allowing water to enter. They are just not fit for purpose and this appears to be a very common fault. I shall see if I am offered my money back but I don’t have much hope.

Comfortable, but seams fail
3_5 out of 5

This review is after a year of regular winter use. I've found them comfortable, warm, with good grip for light trails.
Unfortunately, the stitched seams around the toe sections have split, allowing water to enter. Other reviewers have mentioned the same problem. I'm looking at having this fixed, as otherwise, these are good value.

Weak stitching. Not hard-wearing.
3_5 out of 5

Stitching went quickly on both shoes.
The original firm support easily crumbled after 100 miles of walking on reasonable surfaces.
Padding underfoot inadequate after a few walks.
I'm don't remember having these problems with the Grizedale shoe, and I had 3 pairs in sucession.

Uncomfortable, limited arch support
3_5 out of 5

I only wore these once for 10 minutes. The cushioning seems to be in the wrong place, rather than supporting the arch it was pushing up against the inside of the front of my foot, quite uncomfortable. Not had this with any other style.
