Go on a scavenger hunt
Who doesn’t love a good Scavenger Hunt eh? It’s a great way for the whole family to get outside and have a bit of fun as you get closer to nature and maybe even learn some more about the objects and creatures you're trying to find.
It’s such a simple (and free) way to keep the kids entertained and you can make it as easy or as complicated as you want.
It doesn’t even need to take much planning. Simply pick where you want to have it, your items you want to look for and the time scale to find them. Why not have a little prize waiting for the winner to entice some competition. Who doesn’t enjoy a bit of friendly competition, right?
