It’s also able to keep you both warm and cool thanks to its natural temperature regulation, making a merino baselayer the ideal choice for all-season adventurers.
The Kelso Merino Top from OEX is extremely lightweight, breathable and moisture-wicking. It punches above its weight when it comes to insulation to help you stay warm in winter. In the summer months, the quick-drying properties of Merino help you stay dry and cool. The top comes with thumb loops to prevent the sleeves from bunching underneath a fleece or jacket. It also has flatlock and offset shoulder seams so there’s no chance of chaffing, even when you’re carrying a heavy pack.
Merino takes a little more care than synthetic baselayers but is well worth the effort. The Kelso range from OEX uses 100% premium quality Merino and is available in bottoms and tops for men and women.
