Very comfortable pads, hardly notice they are on, though not yer worn on a hot day. They have mesh on the inside and a cut out at the joint so hoping they are fine in the heat.
Sizing - small was a good fit for me (female), there are velcro strap to adjust tightness at top & bottom edges.
Not yet impact tested but D30 has very good reviews.
