Excellent
Good shoes for outdoor work
Comfy shoes straight out the box, it is right what reviews have said about these shoes.You do need to size up for some reason, I've always been a size 11 but I went for a size 12 and they were a lot less pinching. I've had 6 different pairs of merrell shoes over the years. The only thing I don't like about these shoes is this new vibrant sole they are using, it is very hard and clunky on the ground and it does make your feet vibrate after a while if walking on hard ground.

These shoes are excellent and are a quality product that performs to a very high standard and are hard wearing, fit and comfort is excellent
Good but not waterproof
Bought a pair as my son hammers his and they have survived. In response to a previous review they are NOT waterproof and do not claim to be. Merrell sell a goretex version for £30 more if you want waterproof. Mine are for summer walking so hopefully not too much rain and should be cooler

Like a glove...
My previous pair of Merrell walking shoes lasted ~25 years of intermittent use, so these have a lot to live up to. So far, in approx 150 yards of walking, they have already proved to be a match on comfort - which was the big factor for the previous purchase. Robust soles. Nice looking too.

Coming up too small
My second pair as they are very comfortable but shame there are no half sizes. Having to return mine as they are too small when wearing walking socks.
Excellent quality as usual
This is my fifth pair of Merrll trainers and they are as good as the ones before. Be sure to buy a size larger as they can be a bit tight otherwise.
Delivery was prompt and ordering very simple. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
Great Shoe

Comfortable and they keep the wet out.
Another reviewer gave only 1 * because his feet got wet. This has not been my experience. After some three years, I am well through my second pair of these shoes, after the first wore out. I've walked in them several times each week in a variety of weathers over many different terrains and they have been comfortable throughout. The only time my feet got wet was when the rain was so heavy that it ran down my legs and entered through my socks; don't think I can blame the shoes for that, though!
Brilliant shoes
Bought these from Millets after doing a lot of research and reading reviews. They are fantastic walking shoes, very comfortable - no need to break in. They look very stylish! Well made and a pleasure to wear.
horrendous avoid if you want dry feet
I sought a quality established brand of walking shoe with excellent reviews and above all properly waterproof. i thought these did the trick.
First issue was with UK sizing i've found these Merrel come up about half to full size smaller than expected. Thankfully Millets stocked the larger size so i was ok there. I've had them about two weeks
I went for a walk in damp ankle length grass with a couple of minutes my feet were soaked !! my socks were soaked through. the only bit dry was the ankle that was obviously out the shoe. This was the first time they exposed to water & they failed!!

These are really excellent hard wearing walking shoes perfect for walks when you don’t need boots.
Not waterproof, but great for very day use.
