Not remotely waterproof.
Comfy but
6m review.
Comfy, lightweight & high ankle kept mud & splashes at bay. However, became clear that the Nface Dryvent provides little waterproof element.
Feet soaking wet just from walking on wet grass.
Grip Ok in dry conditions but awful in the slightest of wet mud/soft underfoot.Slipped over onto backside twice on wet inclines. Awful grip even on flat path.
After 150 miles of single track up n down dog walking the material element on outside (level with my little toe) has frayed & split.
Seem manufactures are using cheapest material possible.

Extremely comfortable but…
I have had 3 pairs of these walking boots and while they are extremely comfortable light weight boots none of them have lasted more than 2 years as the material at the front splits where they flex. This happens long before the tread on the underside wears out which is a bit frustrating. That said they are so comfortable that I keep coming back for more and I am considering purchasing a fourth pair.

Wet feet just walking through wet grass. Have worn twice a day for 6 months. Both boots now have holes in the seams, so even less waterproof. Won't buy North Face products again. It's just a fashion brand now.
