These boots feel solid and well made. I haven't given them a thorough test yet but been wearing them on short dry walks along the beach and over stones to break them in even though they already feel very comfortable. So far so good, I feel that my feet and ankles are well protected. They look a good boot as well. I shall be putting them a more severe test quite soon and I shall report back with an update! So far, so good.

I have been wearing the filey walking boots about 6 months now. And although They comfortable thay are not water proof even when I have used NIKWAX spray as recommended, also the sole bonding around the boot it self as started to cum a way it is a pity. Great for dry day poor for wet/rainy day's,as I have to wake my dog every day

Very comfortable so far . Not had chance to wear them much yet.
If you love wet socks and cold feet these are for you. Look good, fit well and were cheap.
In dewey or wet grass, on muddy ground the side webbing lets in water within minutes so beware.
Mine are relegated to dry ground, surfaced trailways and not much else.
Blacks are as usual are very helpful and sympathetic admitting the shortcomings and I’m waiting to see if a partial refund, or ideally a decent discount on something better is offered.
