Heavier thicker warmer comfortable sock. I'm glad I have two pairs
I was expecting more based on the other ratings. I wore these out walking for one day and will never wear again. Horribly thin, no padding, poorly sized and not at all warm. May be OK as a summer sock with a light trainer type walking shoe for a half day stroll but not for anything serious - avoid! I guess you get what you pay for.
