Great and comfy for walking

Great boots - good price

Great fit, light and comfortable, and at a really good price.

At the price I actually paid, these boots are fair value for money. I have tried them out in thick mud and , insofar as I can judge, they appear to be waterproof despite their external similarity to my Merrell trainers, which most certainly are not!! They are commfortable and marginally easier to put on than other boots with similar lacing arrangements.

I don’t understand why shoes are made that are not foot-shaped. These are wide in the mid foot but taper in at the toe box - certainly not the same shape as my feet as they squash my little toes. To be fair, this is a problem I have with many brands of shoes so I am well acquainted with different returns policies. Millets was easy because work near a branch.

I have given this product 3*s for value as whilst these boots fitted well and are comfortable straight from the box they are not waterproof. These were meant as an upgrade to my existing non waterproof boots but now I have two pairs for Spring/Summer and no Autumn / Winter boots.
I know, I should have paid the extra for Gore-tex lined boots...but Merrell also need to remove "waterproof" from there description as it is false marketing!

Good boot had its first major outing this weekend in North Wales very comfy and good grip. Cany comment water proof as for a change sunny weather.

I purchased these boots after injuring my foot by carrying a 15kg pack for 20+km while wearing boots that were not up to the task.
These boots have been a dream. After reading other reviews and having a wide foot I purchased a whole size up and they fit perfectly.
I can still feel the terrain, but they are well cushioned and firm enough so the sharper edges don’t dig into my heels. They grip well and support my foot nicely giving me confidence on steeper slopes.
Merle may just have become my favoured brand for boots.

My first pair of Merrells and it won't be the last. Light but sturdy and very supportive but yet very comfortable. The best pair of walking boots/shoes I have ever worn and at a great price. The only problem I can see is they are just too nice get muddy.

This is my third pair of Merrells from Millets so that give you an idea of how good they are - so sorry we lost our Millets in Banbury

I'm normally a 10/10.5, in these 11 is the perfect fit...nice and wide so loadsa toe room. I've got flat feet so I've gotta change insoles regularly, the sole just bellow the toes collapsed on my last pair of Merrells...I walk a lot for exercise (fast over a terrain that's full of stones) so that was a factor in the collapse I reckon 'specially with my flat feet. Bought these because of the air soles, already tried them out several times....that impressed I'm now on line to buy a second pair due to the sale, and for a walking boot...they look really cool!
