A very disappointing product, camped for two nights with this air bed and both nights it deflated. Returned it to millets, the shop tested it and found leaking air from the seams so a full refund was issued, ruined the camping experience, would definitely not recommend this product.
Used it countless times (my kids have used it for sleepovers jumping on it etc) because it's easy to blow up/deflate, great size, comfortable. When storing away, there is a compartment on the bed for the wire, that you plug into a socket
I find it hard to fold back up after use and i bought it for camping not realising you don't blow it up, you plug it in and in less than min it's blown up, meaning that you need an electrical hookup. I saw another review that said it does deflate a bit, but I've never known a blow up bed that doesn't deflate after pressure is put on it for a while
Only the third time we have used this and this will be the last.
The idea of it being raised is great , so no struggling for the not so young. Easy to inflate and deflate.
Only problem is you are constantly topping up the air.
Last night completely deflated as we were trying to sleep.
Save your money and don’t bother.
Very disappointed
We bought this Hi-gear high airbed so that we can sleep on the ground floor when visiting friends who have very steep stairs. The cost of the bed was less than one night in the nearest wheelchair-friendly hotel. So far we are impressed – it is comfortable to sleep on. On cold nights we put a mattress topper on top of it to improve insulation and increase the feeling of being on a normal bed. It comes with helpful instructions explaining why all airbeds need topping up after inflation; the inflation process compresses the air thus warming it, but when the air cools the pressure will fall.
