So good this is the 3rd pair I have ordered. Super comfortable for long walks, fine on rocky ground and being goretex feet never get wet.
Lovely shoe vey comfortable and water
Nice shoe, but the laces are far too short.
Very comfortable very strong good looking very waterproof thanks you
Quality and comfortable fitting.
Nice shoes, comfortable.
I paid £100 for these shoes and after only one day of wearing they let in water also falling apart. I would've been better off wearing slippers. Worst shoes I've ever owned. I'm absolutely gutted tbh. NEVER BUY MERRELL
Having always gone for Merrill with Vibram and Goretex I decided on giving the Merrill soles a go. The shoe fits great and has excellent support and are a really comfortable shoe. However, the sole isn’t great and I regret not going for the Vibram. I find it slipping on almost everything even tarmac, it also makes a noise a bit like a flip flop on every step, very annoying, probably due to the fin / paddle type bits in the design.
However, the worst part is that the shoes I have aren’t waterproof and leak fairly badly so they are going back and I’ll have to try another manufacturer.
After only 6 months wearing at the heal quite badly. My merrell walking boots started wearing here also after only around half a dozen hikes.
In short, poor quality, expensive and not built to last.
I've been buying size 10 Merrell shoes for over 12 years. This latest set had to be returned as Merrell seem to have changed their sizing. The shoes are far too long allowing the heal to slide up and down the achilles, and far too narrow which would cause blisters and pain on the ball of the foot.
Looks like I need to find a new supplier for my walking shoes.
Excellent pair of walking shoes. Straight out of the box comfort. Good support all round but with the comfort of house slippers.
Bought a pair of these from Millets last year incredibly comfortable and waterproof. These are the best walking shoes I have ever worn
I like a lightweight shoe and these are perfect, I bought the boots as well, makes a big difference especially on a long walk.
Initially I was pleased: fairly stylish, very comfortable, decent grip in wet conditions.
After about 9 months I noticed that the black wearing sole on the heal had worn away and the light grey mid sole was showing through which I thought was a bit poor.
Now, having had them a few months longer, they've started leaking where the uppers meet the sole to the extent that I can't really wear them when it's wet or raining.
I've worn them mostly at weekends so I've not hammered them and would have expected longer life. They're a decent make & not cheap so I feel very disappointed.
Not recommended.
Very comfortable shoe for all sorts of walking
Felt really comfortable from the initial wearing
Very comfortable and practical
Nice comfortable fit, too soon to say how durable
One of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever worn and they look good.
Like folks have already said these must have changed recently. This is my 3rd pair and I won't be buying them again, they are now far too tight and rubbing against my small toes, both sides. And don't get me started about the laces, what are they supposed to do?? The laces are far too short and if you like to double knot, you've got no chance with these. And even worse, a single knot just keeps coming undone. If customer service are reading this PLEASE send me some longer laces...... now where's my shoes stretcher.
