Exactly as described. Massive, looks great, feels nice and soft underfoot and is waterproof back. Very like a picnic mat and could be used as such for a day at the park. So good I bought a spare as the only downside is it’s like a fleece fabric and doesn’t look great after shoes and dogs trample on it.

We purchased this for our tent outings this Summer & were very pleased with it. Compact enough to not take up too much room in the car transporting it, it laid out well & remained flat, water spilt onto it was easily soaked up with a towel or cloth, without soaking the carpet, dirt & grass was easily brushed up, keeping it clean & it added a layer of insulation, a noise cancelling effect on the 'crunchy' groundsheet and some colour.
I suspect though that, in time, the backing will come away as happens with some picnic rugs but it will have done a good job by that stage. A great addition!
