Went a funny colour after second wash
As other reviewers I have three pairs of brasher trousers 2 stretch 1 double zip off very similar to these shorts none have faded but these shorts are a joke gone a horrible muddy brown colour after the second wash they're not doing the brasher name much good and I don't believe some of the 5-star reviews

Good shorts - until washed
These shorts were very good to start with. However they have been washed once and now, like two other reviewers, the fronts of mine are faded and heve redish marks on them. I am taking them back.

Good quality second pair purchased
Fit for the bin!
Bought a few weeks ago and only used a couple of times washed twice and severely faded, now look like they're covered in brown dust , only fit for the bin. Disappointing as I have two pairs of the stretch trousers and they're great.

One review says they fade - nonsense, I previously bought three of the full length trouser version of these and wore them for work and hiking daily for over a year - they are still good as new. The shorts are the same design only shorter! I bought my second pair of shorts today, they are hard wearing, whether trouser or shorts the material is windproof, water resistant, totally colourfast and dries really quickly.

Have a number f pairs of Bracher trousers - shorts and long.Comfortable and hard wearing. Great for walking and can be worn in winter or summer alike. On latest pair the clip on the belt keeps coming undone, which is annyoing, especially when I bought a larger size! Otherwise all good.
