Porch spacious and fairly easy to attach to air 4 tent.( tent purchased last year, porch weeks ago) however porch does not have a sewn in ground sheet unlike the tent, and when wet and windy water comes in , leaving floor area damp and with puddles, (especially last weekend, rained all time we camped)!!!! Other than that quite happy with size and quality.
The air porch does not match up to the 4XL it is a lovely porch with loads of space but the straps over the top just force your tent to droop badly and if you get a thunderstorm it will hold the water between beam and straps forcing it to collapse.
This porch does not go well with the 4XL, the straps over the tent allow air to pass easily under porch canopy they also press down on the tent meaning the tent looks like its going to buckle, we have just had a thuderstorm and the porch collapsed in the middle, i wouldn’t advice anybody with the 4XL or 6XL to buy it.
As described great, and damage free
This is a dumb question - it's a tent!
difficult to rate in terms of cost i am happy in terms of packaging happy, quality of tent and porch to be seen as due to the weather i cannot get a dry day to put it up to see
I was very pleased with the speed of the process from purchase to early morning delivery.
Quality porch does brilliant job and fantastic addition to tent
Reliable and on time great service
The Berghaus Air Porch seems at first easy to put up. I read the instructions and took the time to watch the video online. What they do not tell you is how to position the porch against the tent to get the best seal. I re-positioned the porch twice trying to get in in the right place but I was hampered by the ground which was a thin layer of grass over shingle so the cheap light weight tent pegs they supply with the porch are not up to the job and bend easily! What is required is more detailed instructions on erecting the porch and positioning it correctly. Looking at it from the inside during our stay at the site I worked out that if you align the edges piece that goes over the tent with the outer beams of the Air 4 tent it would probably be a better fit but I have not tried this as yet.It did rain while we were there and the Air Porch did not leak and kept the area dry although the same could not be said for the tent.Taking the Air Porch down was more difficult than you would have thought. Again I read the instructions and watched a video but they did not help. The problem is with the air getting trapped in the tubes and not allowing easy packing of the porch in its bag. Together with packing away in the rain it is frustrating when it becomes a trying task.To summarise, what is needed is:1. Better instructions on how to erect the Air Porch.2. Clear instructions on the best position against each version of the air tent.3. Stronger tent pegs that can stand up to any sort of ground you are likely to pitch on.4. Detailed instructions on how to best deflate the porch.5. Instructions on how to fold the porch and pack away. This could be done with a bullet list or simple diagrammatic sketches. We bought this tent for ease of putting up and putting away but this has not been the case. I daresay that with time and practice it will be easier but it will need stronger pegs for this to be the case.
Decent enough when the weathers fine , but in the wind it did lift a lot , and the rain got between the part which lies on top of the tent , soaking our kitchen area .
Shame as it looked promising when we put it up .
Sadly failed to deliver to our expectations .
