Peter Storm Women’s Arnside Vent Walking Shoe

I found it too difficult to return these walking shoes and they were too uncomfortable for me to wear for even any relatively short walking distance to do any essential shopping and I won't be ordering online again anything to wear now!

The shoes look great and feel sturdy. I have worn them for a week now on my daily walk and they are comfortable. They are quite firm and quite different from wearing trainers which might take a bit of getting used to. The back of the shoe goes higher up the heel than my trainers and as it is quite firm it is causing a bit of rubbing. I wore a plaster yesterday and it helped a lot. The bonus of the shoe going further up the heel is it gives more ankle support. I walked through wet grass and discovered that the shoes are not waterproof but I didn’t buy them for that purpose and can’t remember if they were advertised as water resistant but if that’s important to you these might not be the right ones for you. I used the size guide which said I should buy a 7 but I opted for the 8 and I made the right decision as I like to wear thick socks. All in all I’m very happy with the shoes.

Hard under foot but a great fit.

I had a pair of ladies Hi Tec shoes for 10 year when they started to let in water. I have only worn these half a dozen times and this morning my feet were wet. I'm so disappointed because I thought I was buying like for like!
