I would only recommend these socks for general (non-hiking) use. One pair of these socks developed a hole after their first ten mile walk and the other pair shows signs of going the same way. I have used Bridgedale socks before and found them to be excellent and long lasting. These fall below those usually high standards. Disappointed.
