The Men's Maitland GORE-TEX® IA Waterproof Jacket is a technical jacket which ticks all the boxes for a hiker who wants waterproof protection and still wants to move fast. Constructed with a GORE-TEX® membrane, this jacket ensures you’re protected during heavy rainfall on your walk or commute.
Any Berghaus fleece can be attached to the 3-in-1 InterActive (IA) system for when you need an extra layer of warmth. This jacket has adjustability throughout, from hood to hem, further increasing its ability to perform in stormy conditions.

Very nice, not particularly...
Very nice, not particularly anything fancy, no liner as such so not warm, it is just a rain coat, it does the job. What I will say is the colour is not a bright red as the image indicates, which I was expecting. It’s a little dull in colour and was a bit late arriving.

Bought to replace my...
Bought to replace my previous Gortex jacket that has lasted 20 years - material is still waterproof but the Velcro closures have worn out. Tasteful shade of dark red that increases my visibility when walking on roads. Comfortable when walking my dogs - waterproof In light rain (I have not used it in heavy rain in the two weeks since it arrived). No condensation inside jacket after running. Good zips on outside pockets. Useful zipped inside pocket for smartphone. I am pleased with my purchase.

Can't give it 5...
Can't give it 5 stars because I don't know how long it will stay waterproof and how well it will stand up to a prolonged downpour. It is however very comfortable and has probably the best hood that I have ever had on a waterproof coat, easy to adjust and very good visibility
