A good jacket but very shallow pockets. As one of the pictures shows, just finger depth.

I bought this to...
I bought this to replace a Long Cornice IA which is over twenty years old and still works as a winter jacket but not as waterproof as it was. The new one is almost identical but has a lighter mesh lining instead of a fabric one. I expect to get as good a use out of it as I am still getting out of the old one!

AS A TALL MAN...
AS A TALL MAN MOST JACKETS ARE TOO SHORT, THIS BERGHAUS IS FINE FOR LENGTH. IT IS LIGHT AND WELL FINISHED, AND WHEN THE RAIN FALLS THE JACKET KEEPS THE WEARER DRY. THE LATEST VERSION HAS HAD NUMEROUS CHANGES FROM THE ORIGINAL BUT THE OLY NEGATIVE CHANGE IS THE LOSS OF THE SECOND MAP POCKET.
