I’ve used Westlake meat coil rigs very, very successfully in the past, but those all had the meat coil on a short hair of around 10mm. These all have much long hairs of around 40-50mm.
I’ve not yet used these and they may work just as well, but I am concerned they could present a risk of tangles, increased chance of snagging and missed takes where the fish takes the bait but feels and rejects the hook before taking it in.
I will update with real experience and, if I’m right I will return unused rigs.
