I am very pleased with my Ortler Hiking Trousers. Good fit and well made but they have a press stud at the waist instead of a button. I am a 32 waist and walk to keep fit. The press stud is fine until you sit down and put the slightest pressure on the stud and it pops open. Could be embarrassing! In my opinion the fastening should be a button so I shall take my Ortlers to a local seamstress to have the stud replaced. It really is a shame because this spoils an otherwise great pair of trousers. I have seen other reviewers saying the same thing so maybe Berghaus can resolve this issue…
