HI-GEAR Whistling Kettle (1 Litre)

Leaks when pouring drinks. Not great at all.

Be very careful with this kettle on a gas stove.
If the kettle is not sat directly above the flame, or the gas is turned up just even the slightest bit to high. The plastic around the neck of the kettle where you pour the water out, begins to melt. And if it isn't melting around the neck of the kettle then it's the plastic handle that melts depending on how the kettle is positioned.
The only solution is to have the gas turned down really low so none of the flame or excess heat goes up the side of the kettle front or back.
This means it takes ages for the kettle to boil.

Perfect for camping trips

Nice and light. It's difficult to pour the last bit of water from this. The big problem though is I have used it about 4 times and it is now leaking from under the spout.

Love the colour and perfect size for camping. At first though it was a bit small but actually when using you realise it’s perfect

brilliant value for money, simple and basic but excellent for the price. Not too big. large enough for 3 and it boils fairly quickly
