Berghaus Men's Hillwalker GORE-TEX® Walking Boot

Unfortunately I had to return the boots. They do look exceptional quality , however....all my shoes are size 8 but these were very tight, even with normal socks, and I had to return. If I had worn the thicker walking socks I would have struggled to even get them on! Perhaps will try ordering a size 9 in new year!

These are super-comfy, waterproof walking boots, and I've had a good few of these down the years. My frustration is that the uppers really last only a year, regardless of how assiduously you apply dobbin and polish. They then crack across where they bend up in the toe. I guess at the sale price this is fair enough, but it goes against the grain to chuck them away annually.

This is my second pair of Berghaus boots. I walk my dog 4-miles every morning over rough undulating ground and many time very wet.The soles are good but the uppers decay after a year. Most boots when used 365 time a year soon disintegrate no matter what price you pay, so these boots are a good compromise .

Great boot comfy waterproof BUT the sole has worn down far too quick

Very comfortable nice boot however despite cleaning and looking after regularly it is now leaking after 9 months. Break in leather where your foot bends at toe joints

good sturdy boots - worthwhile depends on the terrain. like all boots weight is a factor.
these are comfortable and keep your feet warm have been wearing them in winter months.
need some time though to break in

So far a great pair of boots.
The fit is tighter than my last pair of walking boots, but looser than a pair of normal shoes. Wearing thin inner socks and wool outer socks is very tight, but two pairs of thinner socks or one pair of thick socks is comfortable.
So far they have not shown any signs of leaks, but the leather has soaked up moisture from the wet grass. When I remember, I will give them a clean and a dose of dubbing.

As advertised. Waterproof and comfortable.
