Good value for money...

Good value for money (especially in the sale) and thrilled to find that it is possible to erect the flysheet first. Always thought it was daft to move away from this possibility.

The Scafell 300 backpacking tent by Vango is a quality tent, with a good hydrostatic head of 3000, and alloy poles, and ladder-lock tightening ******* fastenings making it both weather- proof and very lightweight. The tent comes with the inner attached, but you can pack this separately The entrance is such that rain cannot fall into the inner when opened and there is a midge proof ventilation panel on the inner and in the back vent. it even comes with a small repair kit should the worse happen. pole We bought a Vango additional groundsheet to protect the inner's groundsheet from rocks and thistles and this is lightweight too.I would highly recommend this for a comfortable 2 person tent, but a 3 in a squeeze.

Bought this for my son’s DofE expedition and for his inter-railing trip. Held up well in heavy rain and less than 3kg.

Great Little Tent

This is a great little tent.
I have so far only used it for 2 nights but it exceeds my expectations.
It is lightweight but quite spacious for a backpacking tent.
Lots of room for 1/2 people maybe a bit tight foe 3.
Good size area at front for cooking/storage.
Can easily sit up inside without touching the roof.
Well made and easy to pitch and pack up.
