This rucksack is a good size for a day out. Side pockets are big but zips are a little tricky to operate. All in all really pleased with it for the price.

I use a Berghaus ‘Freeflow 25’ rucksack with a rigid back frame, and I was looking for something lighter for shorter walks, but with a good carrying volume. The Arrow 30 seemed to fit the bill: it is lighter than my older rucksack, and has plenty of room. It is described as having a "vented foam flow back system for breathability" – this is the disappointment. Two padded regions run down the back of the rucksack, with a gap between them for the ventilation channel, but the back of the rucksack is insufficiently rigid for the channel to remain functional during wear, giving me a wet back.
