I’ve always bought either Merrell or Berghaus walking shoes/boots. I was extremely disappointed with these, they didn’t stay waterproof for long, the stitches around the lace holes are fraying and around the toes are gaps. The quality on my last 2 pairs have been extremely poor. They are comfortable and a great fit but as I use them daily for dog walking, I need them to be waterproof for longer than a handful of wears. Would recommend for dry days but not everyday.
