Disintegrated boots!
3 out of 5

These boots ae useless, less than 1 year old. Used only for walking the dog over flat grazing land, (short grass). They are both leaking despite two badges on each boot declaring them waterproof. The top layer of the boot material has departed company along the whole joint line with the sole. The sole shows no wear at all, but my feet get soaked on every occasion I use them. I will be taking this issue up with the supplier. I regret buying them.

Quality has dipped over several years, now very poor
3 out of 5

Purchased these over a year ago & they've been in storage 'til needed. Now I've bought these many times & the side seam of the shoe has always been the downfall (splitting open ) but now the sole has departed the toe of the upper in less than 30 miles use. Don't get me wrong as they are comfortable & the sole has excellent grip but the build quality is now awful & they certainly should last longer than they have. Time to look elsewhere !!

Boots
3 out of 5

I had 2 pairs of HiTek for 20 years and brought 2 pairs to replace them ,these are the same as the old HiTek boots so I can say they are VERY good everyday boots never mind the mileage I have done in the forests and mountains of Wales ..no problems ordering or with delivery ..thank Simon ceo sheepdog records.

Great Fit
3 out of 5

Happy so far with these boots. Comfortable on the foot straight away but a little tight and stiff around the top of the boot, which will wear in time.

Good quality and extremely comfortable walking boot
3 out of 5

These boots are extremely comfortable and well fitting. Some walking boots I have purchased are a bit narrow at the toe but these seem to have plenty of room both in width and length. I was attracted by the one year guarantee on manufacture as well as at thus price point it should be able to make a boot which lasts!

Great Boots
3 out of 5

This is the 3rd pair of these boots I’ve bought for my son, they’re great, he’s still growing so only needs new boots because he’s grown out of the older ones, which even after some heavy wear are still good enough to be reused by friends who have smaller feet. Would recommend. They’re sturdy, look good, don’t cause blisters and are waterproof.

Sole fell off in months
3 out of 5

I am a dog walker so do a lot of walking in all weathers. These boots fell apart in a few months, I mean literally the sole left one of the boots. Not made well especially for the money I paid. Avoid unless you live in a country that doesn't rain.

Worn out within 4 months
3 out of 5

Very comfortable boot. But after 3 months of light use sole was wearing, now leaking and splitting. Thought I was buying a boot to last a couple of years

Worst footwear I’ve ever bought
3 out of 5

I’ve worn them for 6 weeks. They are starting to disintegrate already. The soles are hurting my feet which shows the soles are going. I bought Peter storm because I had bought them before and they were real quality footwear. I still will buy Peter storm but make sure I buy from official Peter storm website. I would definitely not recommend buying these.

Poor Quality
3 out of 5

Waste of Money....I've had two pairs of these..they didn't last 7 months...the 1st pair the soles disintegrated after 4 months..the second pair fell a part after 3 months...both pairs were not waterproof in the slightest...my feet were soaking after a light shower.

nice for a while
3 out of 5

Very comfortable and a good fit. However after 18 months the soles have come away from the uppers along about 50% of the inside edge and the thin layer of imitation leather is flacking off over much of the front of the boot. Probably worth the £41 I paid, at full price? A waste of money.

Peter Storm boots

Worn them for one season. Comfortable but the left sole has come away which would not expect from an $85 boot. The upper part of leather has lasted well mainly due to applying Grainger's bee wax

Alright for the money
3 out of 5

I paid £45 for a pair 12 months ago and they were extremely comfortable straight out of the box. 51 hikes done in them covering almost 200 miles of lake district and peak District hills in all weathers. I was still very happy with them until the sole completely came away from the boot on the last hike, still undecided whether to buy again

Poor quality and not waterproof.
3 out of 5

I have walked around 50 miles in these boots. The material is cracking/peeling and the waterproofing does not work. I have very wet feet when it has been raining. A very poor quality item that I would not recommend.

Don't waste your money
3 out of 5

I bought myself and my partner these boots and they are rubbish quality they are not waterproof even in dewy grass, the eyelets are going rusty and the leather is cracking/peeling.This has happened in a short space of time,we always get the Hi Tec and they last 2-3 years before they need replacing. They have been well looked after and customer services said it's normal wear and tear,I even sent pictures. They did say it's up to the stores discretion if they would change them but it's a 40+ mile round trip to our store so we don't want to chance it really

Poor Quality

I've had 2 pairs of these, and both pairs have fallen apart, not waterproof and sole will fall off between 2-6 months.
Very disappointed that they still sell these boots to their customers.
