The insoles did just what I wanted them for, kept my feet toasty warm.
I used them in a pair of walking shoes that had a wide and deep toe box and took the original insole out before putting in the thermal insole. Under these circumstances the soles were great. They would also be perfect in wellington boots, but not in ordinary shoes that don't have much room to spare.
