Handheld satnav
Garmin maps65 GPS unit.
This item took some getting used to at first, but I am delighted with the product. Whilst not yet tested in the 'wild' yet, I have used it on known test walks with my dog and it is extremely accurate. The route planning tool called Basecamp, does require some studying, however, once mastered it is very useful route planning tool.
The compass is not electronic, so uses GPS to map, so you have to be on the move for it to work, unlike the 65s version, which is more expensive, but has an electronic compass and altimeter. All in all, a very useful and accurate GPS tool. Very happy with it.
