These are by far the comfiest boots I have worn for work BUT they are not waterproof. I paid £90 for these and they have only lasted me 11 months as the sole has started to peel away.
I would recommend looking at other styles and types.
I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about. I bought these in October of last year for walking the dogs on trails and up hills. They've exceeded my expectations in every way. Comfortable, waterproof, grippy, easy to clean. The fact the don't contain animal derived products and they're 100% recycled is amazing.
4 rather than 5 stars because the lacing system can be awkward to get comfortable right away. I've found myself re-lacing them to get the tongue and folds sitting better.
These boots are comfortable and lightweight but are are not waterproof at all, save your money, buy some crocs and a expensive insole and you have the same product. Huge disapointment from Magnum will look for another brand and supplier in future.
Good construction and comfortable to wear but not waterproof out-of-the-box. 90 mins walk in long wet grass resulted in soaking feet. Sprayed on hydrophobic treatment and improved massively but not 100%. Water still gets in a little around the lace and through the heel. Still using them, though, for dog walking but would not take on a hike.
Bought these 5 months ago the tread is worn bald.. so very slippy now. They ate not water proof the smallest shower and your feet are wet. But the hugest issue with these because they are plastic your feet absolutely stink after wearing them and so do the boot itself. Worst pair of magnums I've ever purchased stay well clear.
