Bought for Glastonbury Festival. Light and compact, fairly easy to put up in a out 10 mins.
The double wall stops condensation from building up inside the tent overnight.
Very good weather protection and - amazingly - rolls up small enough to fit in the original bag!
Brought it for night fishing and it rained all night. Single skin outside but with a separate net/groundsheet to go on the inside means you don't get when from condensation or touching the outer skin when raining. Theres more expensive single skin tents on amazon with ridiculously bad reviews. Can't comment on durability as only used once but keeping me dry was the main concern. just brought another for a friend couldn't get better for £40
After hiking and wild camping round Cornwall through the winter and then on to summer for the past 226 days we will sadly and finally be replacing this tent, Follow us on Instagram (blokeblokester555) and see for yourself how good this tent is for the money, we paid £27.99 less 20percent discount from millitts at the time of purchase, Hotel kalifornia done us proud.
I've had a Tamar 2 for about 8 years now. I've used it lots of times. It's never let me down. I've been out in a 50mph storm and it survived and kept ne dry. I put bigger pegs in fir this. I love this tent.
Bought a few days ago. £39 reduced from £150!! Don't pay more than £39. It's been raining. Outer is not even slightly waterproof but luckily the inner is separate and stays dry. Pegs and poles are really cheap poor quality. I'm staying dry in light rain and light wind but i think if the weather got wilder i'd be wet. So £39 seems a fair price. Also I'm 5'10" and cannot sit up inside, which is quite uncomfortable.
Brought this last year and have had it out several times. Dead easy to put up and take down. Went on my own and recon it would be a bit cramped with two people. Quite lightweight. I'm taking it out for a few nights wild camping and fishing end of October.
Bought this last year for a solo trip to Cornwall. After the first night all the seam seals started to peel off and it leaked! Luckily I had my gazebo with me and was able to move that over the tent, otherwise I’d have had to have cut my trip short! It was returned as soon as I got home. Will not be buying this brand again.
Easy set up and stopped up well in high winds
