Used this tent as a quick getaway tent. Upgrade from the two man Eurohike, I found this easier to put up, even solo. Blackout does what it says, would like a little prong to hold the air vent open, there may be one, I’ve just not found it yet. Would also have liked privacy covers over the front windows. Plenty of room for all your stuff. Decent quality. The string broke on the poles in the practice run, but this was easily fixed. Perfect for the price.
There's only one thing wrong with this tent, the zips on the doors leak in water, I knew this before I bought so I don't roll the floor sheet out fully to the door or else the vestibule will flood. Other than that it's stood up to 2 massive storms and countless rainy days just fine. The sleeping area has always stayed bone dry. The inner is more suited to winter as its thick and very insulating from the wind and cold.
Purchased for 1 to 2 nights trips with my boy.
I wanted something quick and easy for me to set up by myself but still have enough space to keep a small camping set up plus our clothes inside. This tent fits our needs perfectly!
Yes it's not amazing compared to some of the bigger, more expensive tents I own, unfortunately we've had some very wet and windy weather with it and when pushed there was a little leakage around the door plus the usual condensation u get with most polyester tents but for less than £60 I really can't complain and would definitely buy again if I ever need to replace it.
For £69 I don’t think you’ll beat it. Used it three times and it’s solid. If you pitch it at Everest base camp you’ll likely come unstuck. But for around the lakes and a festival it’s a belter.
Easy to put up and dismantle. Sleeps 2 on an inflatable mattress with plenty of spare room. Slept under the green fly sheet without installing black inner due to outside temperature - 30 degrees C (heatwave) and had fantastic night’s sleep!
Waterproof during whole day of rain!
Would recommend- especially at sale price!!
Descent tent, lots of room for two and gear, dark interior does help with very early morning sun. Can be pitched quickly by one person, enough ventilation to stop worst of the condensation in 2 days of solid rain. Side door helps when entering/leaving while raining, as less water gets in. Tall enough to sit in, and porch area good for gear. Problem is there is a 6 inch strip of groundsheet stitched to the outer fly at the porch area. This isn't taped so leaks !! Easy fix with some seam sealer/ silicone but be aware of this before you buy!
Could not stand up to 6 hours rain.
The material itself was bleeding water.
Had to bail out and head home
I purchased this in a winter sale and absolutely love it, with a deep green colour and "Night" inner. A feature of the DLX range are the "porch" window screens which allow privacy with mini blinds. Easy to pitch solo with enough height in the porch to sit on a camp chair, a side door to offer access options, central bedroom roof point for a nightlight, wall pockets for phones or maps and sturdy groundsheet throughout. Backpackers will need to split the weight with your buddy but for car camps this is spacious, sturdy(with X brace fibreglass poles)and low to the ground fly for 3 season camping!
I bought this tent for the darkened liner, which really does make a difference, maybe not quite as much as I expected.
It's really easy to put up. I'm not sure why they've got a separate ground sheet for the porch area.
It's a 3 man size, which would be snug, but I use it alone & it's great. I also love the little porch area where I can sit in my camping chair comfortably.
Really good value for money
