The Women's Fortitude Waterproof Jacket is a highly waterproof, breathable and windproof jacket. Perfect for wet and windy days, the jacket is made of a durable two layer stretch shell fabric with a hydrostatic head of 10,000mm and fully taped seams to ensure you’re kept dry.
Wear over existing layers for when you need an extra layer to keep you dry from rainfall. The two zipped pockets can be used to safely stash your essentials, such as a map or your phone and keys. The hood and cuffs can be adjusted to ensure the cold doesn’t seep in.

Great colour but...
Excellent
I have worn this in torrential downpours and the water sloughed off...I was kept bone dry and the wind didn't penetrate. For those people who said it wasn't waterproof I can only say you must have a faulty product. Iove this jacket.
Lovely in every way but NOT waterproof!!
I bought this in store on a whim. Have had other non clothing items from this brand and been pleased…..
If i had read the reviews i would not have bought it. I have used it twice now in heavy downpour's, and been soaked both times. Initially the water seems to run off. But then it gives up. On the plus side, it is a lovely flattering fit, great colour, pockets in all the right places and pit zips. But sadly the feature I wanted it for wasn’t up to scratch. Am just pleased I didn’t pay full whack for it! I have since gone back to my trusty berghaus goretex brand that has never let me down.
Not very Waterproof
I purchased this jacket from Blacks a while ago and recently got caught in the rain. It's not very waterproof at all.

Bought as a present...
Bought as a present for my daughter, she is delighted with it. The size is true, the colour more blue than purple. Has yet to be tested in heavy rain, but is comfortable znd well made.

First proper walk in rain and I got soaked
As the other review states, this jacket is not waterproof. I've managed to avoid going out in rain until now, but having been out in light-medium rain for 45 minutes I was wet through, also, like the other person, I had my phone in my pocket.
Will not be buying OEX again.
Not waterproof!
Loved this coat when received but doing a 7 mile walk last night in the rain and soaked, phone too in pocket. Should not be advertised as waterproof.
I was seduced by the colour which is fabulous. However, no way should this jacket be described as waterproof. Water poured through the first time it was worn in the rain.
