Berghaus Telstar 8 Nightfall Air Tent

As a family of 5 we thought this tent was great it stood up to strong winds and rain with no issues. Love everything about it and its so big 5* from all of us. Ps night rooms are super dark in day and night, you wake up in a dark room to go out to a nice fresh bright living area.

We have just returned from a 2 weeks holiday in Cornwall using this tent which we purchased not long before we went. This tent is fantastic especially for a large family and I would highly recommend it but there were a few things Berghaus could have done by way of improvements. I would have liked the sewn in ground sheet to have extended into the porch area and would have liked the windows smaller with blinds to shut out the sun. Also, the carpet could have done with vlecro around to stop it ruffling up. Another niggle is the door into the porch only closes on the bottom by the fly screen.

We took delivery of this tent when it first came out and have had it pitched in the garden pretty much since, all through lockdown. The tent is superb, lots of really thoughtful touches, clips for the lights, colour coded tags, sensible storage pockets. Just a really good tent. The nightfall rooms are great, really dark. A couple of letdowns, firstly, the tent opening (into the main living area) doesn't zip all the way across but instead, zips about 2 .thirds of the way along, Also the outer porch would benefit from some blinds or a way to block the large windows to stop people looking in.
