Disappointing
Useless!
I bought this tent thinking it'd keep me warm & dry from the elements. How wrong was I?! It's got several serious flaws, the main being it's missing it's sides. As a result, it leaks a lot.

Love this item, bought it for putting over backpacking tent to give extra space for cooking under and chilling out (took it without poles to save weight).It's also fantastic for my three Labradors to lie under when it's really sunny as it gives them shade, but keeps them cool.It's a win win for both of us

Exactly what I wanted at an affordable price
BRILLIANT
Just returned from our first camping trip using this tarp over front entrance to a Vango tent we’ve had for a few years. Such a difference it has made. With limited living space in the tent the extra coverage provided by this tarp made the camp a much more enjoyable experience. When the rain appeared I was able to cook underneath it, the dogs bed was kept dry beneath it and enough space for a couple of chairs as well. I agree with a previous reviewer that lines could be a tad longer. Also not the easiest thing to erect single handedly especially in high winds. None the less worth every penny.

The intention was to extend the living space of our easily mounted 3 person tent: cook underneath, shelter in the rain etc. Bad weather usually comes with wind and the tarp was not stable enough to withstand it in spite of using an additional guy rope on both poles. It made a racket in the wind, parts blew down and the tarp had to be taken down during the night. Put up tight over a small tent it might improve rain proofing but for us it's been disappointing.
