Brasher Women's Country Master Walking Boot

Although the boots are really comfortable after you have worn them in and provide a good ankle support I have had issues with the eyelets

I have had boots replaced on three separate occasions because the eyelet holding the laces had broken off.

There is no way this can be fixed back and means you cannot tie the laces meaning you can’t walk in them.

I am currently returning another pair which are just out of warranty but it is definitely a design flaw

You pay good money and expect the boot to do the job

These Brasher boots are supposed to be waterproof and they have the word ‘waterproof’ all over the inside of the boots. This was the main reason that I purchased these particular boots. But when I get back from dog walks my left foot is wet at the very end and my right foot is soaking. This happens just from wet long grass even if it is not raining. I can’t see where the boots are leaking but they are clearly not waterproof. I would be interested in a replacement pair to see if I have just got unlucky with this actual pair or whether it is a problem with this model/style of boot.

She averages 30000 steps a day
They are comfortable from the day you put them on
I buy the mens version but only do 20000 steps a day

The other good news for me is that I can replace my Brasher walking shoes
I managed to buy the last pair in my size a number of years back

Initially very pleased with these Boots, however having bought in October 2019 when the weather turned at the beginning of November 2020 they began to let in water! Initially I contacted Millets who told me that they were only guaranteed for a year. I then went to Brasher themselves, who just reiterated what Millets had said! I have had Boots in the past that have lasted 10 years, not let in Water, and literally just worn out! I won't be buying from Millets again, or any Brasher products!

I have the menz version of these boots and my partner the ladies, none of these lightweight modern fabrics these boots are made from good old fashioned leather, strong solid very supportive and unlike the old leather style boot they need no breaking in straight from the box. Sizing is excellent and we both feel they are the most comfortable boot either of us have had. Purchased nearly two years ago we wear them on a regular basis at least weekly for long walks/hikes and they still look like new other than I need one new lace! I can not recommend these boots highly enough Five Stars.
