Just did a 2 day 1 night hike tent was soo heavy even thought it was split between people would not recommend. You could get a much better, lighter tent for the same price. Tent was also slow to put up even though I have had multiple years experience with hiking and camping.
Myself and a friend bought this tent whilst it was on sale for £64.00 to take to a festival with us, it took us at least a few hours to put up as the instructions were difficult to follow. The tent itself looked nothing like the image, it was much smaller and the “canopy” at the front is not high at all. However, the tent did withstand the rain and was good in weather conditions. If we had paid more we would have been highly disappointed.
Just got home from using this Tent. Tent was easy to erect, as with all pole tents you really need two people for the initial pole insertion and the wind can make things tricky. We had rain all night and wind was gusty and this tent handled both fine! We woke in the morning dry and the Tent was intact.
Now for the reason I have only given this Tent a 3 start rating. It is tiny! with a double airbed inside it will only sleep 2 people 5'5" tall with next to no room for equipment, and despite photo the porch will barely hold a few pair of shoes. Not a 3 man Tent + no use for average height ppl.
WATERPROOF!!!! I have 2 of this tent and I am so impressed. 1 bought last year and withstand the rain and wind'
Highly recommend...
This is a good tent for the price was £200 now only £65 for the 3 man tent or £98 for the smaller two-man tent. So the larger tent was the obvious choice. It’s fairly easy to set up. Except for the long poles. They really were tight to get onto the hooks at either end. There are lots of guy, ropes, and lots of other places to peg down. However, the stock pegs in the package are absolutely useless and pull straight back out the ground as soon as you push them in with barely any tension. So I bought a pack. Of 10 screw thread, ground anchors. These will set you back £10 for the 10
This tent did a job for us well... Was put up for the first time in pitch darkness in snowdonia on the side of a mountain and was simple to do even in the dark. It faired well but it was mild for the 3 nights we used it. The porch looks enormous on pictures and it really isn't... It is about large enough for a double inflatable mattress inside and the area between the main and inside doors is large enough for shoes and a couple of bags. Overall I would say it is a great tent but the pictures make it look larger than it is and 3 adults would be quite uncomfortable in it.
Great tent , easy to pitch , good space , kept us nice & dry , snug & cosy , Excellent Value & Fab price as always from Millets
Very good tent, excellent value for money. Lovely sort of porch area on the front for when it’s raining and spacious interior too.
Millets always coming through with the camping good goods
Good tent very waterproof ! Instructions aren’t the best , so allow time for pitching up !
Am novice to camping but found easy to put up especially as ground was soft, poles go through outer and rest is straightforward, Like the luminous guide ropes. Awning is good but not that high, can sit on ground under but not comfortably in chair.
Nice tent but few niggles that maybe only related to our tent given the picture but could be across all. The side look to need an extra attachment to keep them sagging in onto the inner bedroom, the picture shows this but ours had no attachments to peg to out. It is extremely tight to bend the poles around and get the pins in place, it took three of us to get this done. For the price paid it's a good tent but not easy.
Easy to pitch and has plenty of room. Was initially apprehensive about the overall quality but it has already held up against the wind and rain of both the Lake District and snowdonia. The prop up awning is extremely useful for cooking in the rain and is even big enough to sit under using a camp chair.
Absolute bargain!
The second time I have bought this tent. Really useful 3 option porch. Completely waterproof in all conditions. Plenty of room for 2 people and loads of stuff.
Love love love this tent. Its nice to put up, so roomy inside and the porch is incredibly useful. Its great for storage but also just right to sit in while preparing meals keeps stove out of wind. Protects from rain or too much sun. The green is bright and cheerful, it lets in right amount of sun..i can put it up by myself. Im delighted with it and think it will last many years.
Great size tent and it will go to great use camping at home over the covid restrictions.
Could be higher by 10-20cm. Other than that great tent. Easy to pitch, seems sturdy, stayed in place during strong wind and rain. Waterproof for sure.
Purchased this half way through a trip as my other branded tent gave up the ghost :) i wanted something quick and easy to pitch. The tent is great for storing your gear inside with you and has a good little porch area for storing food etc, i had about 5 hours of constant heavy rain on its second day of use and it stayed dry and warm. My only criticism would be the front door which flaps around in the wind so just peg this down if you can....i am that pleased with this that i am buying the Ribble 4 for slightly more head room .....
Purchased to take to kendal calling festival. Easy to put up. Lightweight to carry. Did for a weekend but little too small for a holiday.
Weather was horrendous for one day. Tent withstood wind and rain. Would recommend
I bought this tent to do the North coast 500 around top of Scotland. There was just me, so lots of room and used it for 12 night in stopping in several different locations. Weather was interesting from sunny to heavy rain and winds at Durness. Drys quickly and even when I had to take it down wet it dried very quickly when I put it up on next site. Like the fact I could still cook in rain due to the shelter. No leaks. This was the second trip I have used it on. Easy to put I am 69 years old and also have a larger air tent when I am stopping several night. Would highly recommend it for 1 or 2.
