It leaks
3 out of 5

It claims to be waterproof. I think they tested it in the desert. 4th time using it (first time in the rain) and it leaks. All the water gathers on the top and soaks through like a shower, it does not matter how tight you try to pull the guide ropes. They could not be tighter right now and there’s a literal puddle of water over my head, drip drip dripping all night - I will be throwing this tent away

Not waterproof!

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM! Lost my receipt and cannot get a refund! Tent is not waterproof at all! Even in the sleeping compartment the outer skin gets wet slightly and drops or sags onto the 2nd inner layer, resulting in the water passing through and dripping into the compartment, awful tent why even make an outdoors tents not waterproof! Ruined the weekend camping trip with my girlfriend

Not waterproof

I bought this tent 3 years ago. I only took it camping 3 times in total all for a 1 night stay (I know, I hardly use it lol). The first 2 times we were blessed with good weather however the last trip turned into a nightmare. 20min after the tent was up (it was drizzling rain) it was raining inside of the tent more than it was outside. Not just in places, but absolutely everywhere. I paid around 400 for it 3 years ago, I store it under the stairs in my house. There is no excuse for the shocking quality. I can see that you can purchase this tent for 130. Perhaps there were too many complaints

Let rain in
3 out of 5

2nd time using, 1st time in the rain.

Rain came in through the roof leaving puddles across the floor. Sleeping area stayed dry, but everything outside it was soaked through. Ended out trip a day early. It had been a good budget tent up to that point.

Great tent
3 out of 5

Had this tent for three or four years now, gets used twice a year for eight or nine days at a time. Tons of room, hardly surprising when I use it as a one man tent with a load of fishing gear. Never had a problem with it, my only criticism would be how tricky it is to get the poles in and out of the sleeves without them catching. Plenty of ventilation and the darkened bedroom is a help. For the price I doubt whether it could be beaten, fully sewn in groundsheet too.

Delighted
3 out of 5

My twin daughters and I love camping! We had a little 3 man tent you couldn’t stand up in, which we loved! But, alas it started leaking so I thought an upgrade was due. So happy with this tent! We can stand up in it, it has a big porch so we can still cook even if it’s raining. There is a sheet that can divide the sleeping area into 2 rooms which has been handy, it’s easy to put up, the fact the inner section is already attached is brilliant! Really really happy

Takes longer than 15 minutes to put up
3 out of 5

We found this tent excellent. Used it as a Luxury 2 man tent. Used the 'second bedroom' area as a toilet (with portable loo inside). Loads of room for us. Plenty of space in the 'front section so we could eat if it was raining outside. Could easily stand up in all parts of the tent. The only downside is that it takes TWO people MUCH longer than 15 minutes to put up, but once it's up, it's great.

Great tent but needs some improvements
3 out of 5

Myself and my partner bought this tent two years ago, and it was the best decision ever! It comes with so many storage pockets and the main body of the tent is huge so can easily fit people inside quickly if you need to dodge the rain.

Typically, we go camping once or twice a year. Unfortunately this year, first time we’ve used it in a bad rain spell, after 10 minutes of HEAVY rain, the inside turned into a shower with the whole tent flooding. We have chosen to keep it but will need a good weatherproofing to keep it as good as new!

Very big tent
3 out of 5

Nice big tent and not as hard to put up as I thought it would be.
Unfortunately when I did go to put it up one of the poles was broken which I did manage to fixed temporarily, also the bedroom did leak drops of rain. The bedroom was already attached when I put it up which was strange as everytime I've bought a tent there separate which made me think the tent has already been set up and returned.
Saying that it was a lovely nice big tent.
Just waiting on millets now to contact me with regards to faults

Very pleased - excellent value
3 out of 5

Bought this tent for a weekend away camping with the Scouts. I have never had a tent this big before as I have usually attached to a rucksack but have to say this one was first rate. Lots of headroom (at 6' I am normal size) and there was still room to spare above me. Having multiple entrance options (front or side) is really helpful and lots of pockets for storage everywhere which was really useful.

Nice and easy to pitch as well. You can struggle and do it with one person but definitely easier with 2.

Great tent and good value
3 out of 5

We bought this tent to go camping for the first time in 20+ years. We brought two memory foam put up beds with us and had a great night's sleep. Plenty of room in front section We had 6 chairs and a table plus the dogs bed. Would definitely recommend but agree with the other comments it would be a bit tight in the sleeping section for 5.

Eurohike rydal 500
3 out of 5

I purchased this tent 2 years ago and I have to say I love it. We are family of four and there is enough space for all of us. I believe it will be a bit small for 5 people. It is one of the tallest tent mid size I have seen. Extra entrance on the side makes big difference. Loots on ventilation.
I think this is the best mid size tent.

Luxury 2 man tent
3 out of 5

We bought this as 2 man because we wanted a tent tall enough to stand up in, space for our suitcases, a double airbed and floor space for when you're getting dressed. All of which this is perfect for.
The sleeping section has a detachable separator down the middle of it so you can have two sleeping areas if you want.
We've not tried fitting 5 people in it but I'd imagine that would be a bit of a squeeze.
The front section is a good size, you could bring your table and chairs in at night without having to fold them all up first.
The tent seems to be of a really good quality as well.
