Brasher Men's Country Classic Walking Shoe

I was so pleased with these shoes initially, comfortable and smart. However just after three days of use the soles from one shoe detached. A day or so later the same happened on the second shoe. This was real pain as we were on holiday in Germany. Such a shame but I would avoid at all costs as the QA must be poor for this to happen.

My wife bought me a pair of these a couple of years ago on the recommendation of a friend who had had a pair for years. The insides of the front of the shoes have deformed pointing downwards and cramping my toes. They have hardly been used. I see that the soles are delaminating now. Very poor build quality and unwearable..

I'm very impressed with these shoes. I walk about 30 miles a week around local footpaths and by-ways. I don't need big clumpy walking boots and I don't like trainers or running shoes except for running.
These shoes are light and comfortable but still supportive. They are quite well cushioned and the soles are good. They needed no breaking in and they still look good enough to wear to a pub or restaurant, and being leather you can keep them looking good with a brush and polish every now and then.
Overall, I highly recommend them.

My husband will wear no other shoes. I always keep a new pair in stock for him and as soon as these are opened, I order him a new pair. I'm always on the lookout for a reasonable price and the price paid for the latest pair was exceptional - half price - cheapest price I've ever paid. These shoes are extremely comfortable and hard-wearing and, even wearing the every day, he easily gets a couple of years' wear. Good quality leather that polishes up to a lovely shine.

A very comfortable shoe that I wear constantly after initially buying a pair to wear while walking the dog through wet grass.
They are so good that I have been wearing them everywhere and so now I need a new pair which I will reserve for days out with my wife.
I am a size 10 and these fit perfectly.

Well their pretty good as they are made in china but from my experience with leather boots & shoes made in UK were the best shoes in the world & I should know as I am 65 yrs old sadly most are not made hear anymore price wise to expensive at £110 & are not worth price wise they should of been about £60 that's my opinion well 1st order you get 15% off it helps kind regards steve

Bought a pair about three years ago, heels getting worn a bit now, so looking to get another pair. They're extremely comfortable and good wearing, though I did eventually have to replace the insole. As regards sizing, I've found them exact. I'm an 8 UK and same with these, never been too small. I guess everyone is different. ( I did cheat and try a pair on at another retailers before ordering online. Simply can't beat this price.)

Very nice comfortable walking shoe but a little bit small on sizing. Got an 11 size for 10 feet. Otherwise pleased with the purchase. Shame I had to exchange the first pair.

Shoes look smart, they're comfortable and feel like they will last me 20 years. After that, I'll probably get another pair just like these.

Bought a pair a few weeks ago was really impressed. Just one thing ,have been wearing them about the house to try and widen them. Would advise a bigger size. Hopefully after a week or two will become the perfect shoe.

I purchased a pair in early March 2020, i.e. just before lockdown. Since then I have walked approaching 3,000 km in them, and been through 3 pairs of laces. The heels are now too worn down and so I am replacing them. They are very comfortable. Possibly a little bulky. But they have done me proud. You could certainly do a lot worse than buy a pair of these. Regarding size, I normally take 8.5 or even 8. The right size for these for me was 9.

Soft leather upper, rugged sole should provide grip in most situations, should be durable. The heel cup was too low for me, didn't consider would give adequate ankle support on uneven ground. The stitching joining lining and collar around ankle/heel very coarse and abrasive on my achilles heel also very little padding on collar. Unfortunately one of the shoes I ordered had fault in that there was a fold in the lining that created a pressure point, so the order was returned.
I purchased a near identical item from Clarks Shoes, same price, excellent finish, well padded and great support.
