fab jacket for when your out and about as its small enough to folded up and put in the bottom of a handbag. i always go for the mens jackets on north face as i find them slightly longer on the front plus the colours are less pink.

Bought to replace an older version of the same jacket in which the waterproof lining had disintegrated and was flaking off after about 12-13 years of use. A few style changes - no outer flap over the zip, different fastenings for holding the hood in place, but generally feels solid and pretty comfortable. Only used in light rain to date so water resistance not fully tested - hence only four stars given at present but probably five if found to be fully waterproof.
