Force Ten have been innovating outdoor gear since they introduced A-Frame expedition tents way back the 1960s. Technical mountain gear has come a long way since then, but their ethos of quality and functionality remains.

The Force Ten Xenon Ultralight 2 is a light, robust tent with a low weight and small pack size that makes it ideal for expeditioners and multi-day trekkers, and ideal for unplanned overnight stops.

It's built for convenience with comfort, with a two-pole 'Gothic Arch' tunnel design that's simple to pitch and gives you plenty of headroom inside. A large vent over the door allows for easy airflow, and shelters the doorway from rain while the door is open. Plentiful storage options and a very stable design make the Xenon UL 2 a reliable performer, whatever the conditions.

  • TBS® PRO - Internal Guying System using an ultra-lightweight dyneema cord
  • Gothic arch pole structure increases stability and assists water/snow run-off
  • Main and secondary door - provides kit storage and easy entry from either side
  • All flysheet and groundsheet seams are factory taped for a watertight seal
  • 70 denier nylon groundsheet
  • Yunan SD70 Poles - high quality, lightweight, designed and made by Yunan in Korea
  • Twin flysheet doors - easy access for two or more occupants, or additional storage
  • O-shaped inner doors - open with one hand
  • Part mesh inner door allows ventilation whilst keeping bugs out
  • Flysheet door vent (opens from the top to ventilate porch)
  • Internal storage pockets (including high level pockets ideal for a torch for light)
  • 'Fast pack' tent bag - easy packing, with compression straps to control pack size
  • Dyneema core guylines - excellent strength to weight ratio
  • Mini Line-Lok guyline runners lock securely, are simple to release and give high performance in all conditions
  • Dyneema pegging points - can be modified for use with skis or snow anchors
  • Weight 1.65kg (trail weight 1.4kg*)

* the tent's 'trail weight' refers to the weight of only the outer flysheet, inner tent and poles. This could be useful in expedition circumstances, which may allow you to carry the tent without the pegs and bag.

Camping is for life, not just for this summer. Follow our tent aftercare guide for advice on packing, cleaning and storing your tent.
