Compact and light backpacking tent, some complaints
I'm an experienced trekker. Bought this for trekking in Patagonia. Used every night for 2 month in varying environs.
Waterproofness: Good separation between fly and inner no rain will get in through the upper. Groundsheet is thin so recommend a footprint
Stability: if it's a downpour with strong winds (and if ground is loose) then the fly can bow inwards and ground pegs can come loose.
Set up: A little fiddly, not bad though. It is not freestanding.
Durability: Zipper seam broke after 1 month.
Space: I'm 6ft2. Just enough room for me + rucksack inside the inner. Decent vestibule size.

Great design, top quality.
I was extremely impressed by the quality of manufacture throughout. The design is very good and very sturdy in all conditions. Room to sit upright and a storage porch too (a little 'cosy' admittedly but compared with other 1 berth 'coffins' quite bearable). The only tiny criticism is the colour, not good for discrete wild camping - however, this led me to buy the 'pro' model of this tent in green (a sales strategy?). Small package, light weight, quick and simple to erect, this is one of my favourite tents. Oh yes, the puppy thinks that the tent makes a great trampoline too.

Berghaus peak 3.1 tent
Exactly as described - easy to put up and a joy to use. Compact and lightweight kit that does a very good job, stable in the wind too. Also, a lovely shade of red.

Great tent. Easy to put up with a great space inside. Can sit up and organise rucksack no problem. Packs away easily as well back into sack. Super light weight tent.

Good quality construction. Easy and quick to put up and take down. Very light at under 2 kg and packs small so will take less rucksack space

I bought my Peak 3.1 about 18 months ago as a replacement for my old Colman Viper.
+ Easy to pitch. Well made. No faults in the stitching. Inner has large areas of mesh to reduce condensation. Good space for 1 man tent. Very easy and quick to pitch. Light and small pack size.
- Not enough room to invite the neighbours in! Personally, I’d prefer a ‘left-handed’ version, i.e. the opposite floor plan, and a ‘pitch inner first’ design. Small points.

Excellent value for money
Taken this tent in March 2017 to Majorca and previously walked through the NW Highland and the Austrian Alps 2016 really love it...really has no problem in the rain, frost, snow or the windy coasts, really quick to put up can pitch as one or just use the outer, inner darkened room for sleep ins..can put your bag in the porch area overnight, really good quality for the money you pay.

Super quality, bright colour but lighweight & does the job
rdered this rather then the green purely down to price, if you dont mind the colour this is a super price for a really lightweight tent. easy and quick to put up and take just the one pole and stands up to the worst the weather can throw at it - Recomennded

My son used this when he walked the 3 peak challenge and he said it was perfect - a bit snug though, he is over 6 ft and said if he was really tall he would have had problems laying out in it.
