Mens Peter Storm Footwear size guide

Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Poor Quality

I bought these on 20th October. I wore them as often as possible for the first week to break them in (successfully), then I wore them 2-3 times per week since (for about an hour or two each time). Today my right foot was absolutely soaked. The skin on the toe cap has split. There is no reason this should have happened. I walk mostly on grass. I have no complaints about the comfort, they are very comfortable but £40 for 6 weeks, irregular use isn't great. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Quality product at right price although I know was an offer- If I require similar products I would have no hesitation to go back to Millets a store I used to shop in many years ago,

Concerning the shoes they are in the same line as the previous one but slightly different, comfort and style are of course the main characteristics and the price accommodated my budget, fully satisfied,,,

Very poor quality

Bought them about 12 months ago. Go walking roughly twice a week. Nothing to serious, mainly fields, tracks and gentle hills.
The boots once worn in were comfortable but definitely not waterproof as quickly let in water once walking through wet grass etc.
The uppers have now come away from the soles on both boots and on both sides. (I noticed another review with a similar fault).
Very poor quality and would not buy them again.
Intend to take them back to Millets for a refund as not fit for purpose.

So far the boots seem to be as advertized. Very comfortable. I have not yet had a chance to test them out in the wet.

Peter Storm Filey Boots

Absolutely rubbish! Had the boots for about 10 months and they have come apart. The side of both boots has come away from the sole. Used for walking the dog so no long hard treks (he's a Pug). Very disappointed!
Off to buy some decent boots today!

Comfortable but not waterproof

As most people say these are not waterproof. I'm not sure how they can be advertised as waterproof when clearly they are not. Having said that they are very comfortable.

mens Filey walking boot

i liked the colour the construction appears good and light weight and comfortable however they are not waterproof. They were returned for inspection, their comment, " no manufacturing fault can be found

Good build - not fully waterproof. Good for light use.

Construction is very good, sturdy and supportive. Not fully waterproof - good through streams but in heavy rain (5 days walking in Scotland) the uppers eventually get saturated and let in water.

Feels like good quality, time will tell but seems very promising. Well-padded ankle, good grip on the sole, and being waterproof is a big plus.
