Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Rock-climber with cold feet finds these useful

Years ago I was an avid rock-climber, but time took its toll, as did some back injuries and eventually DVT. I now have seriously cold feet due to damaged circulation. These are the best I could find.

Toastie Thermal Socks

I suffer very badly with cold feet in the winter & have tried heavy thermal socks before with no improvement but these socks seem to be better & well made, hopefully I will be much warmer this winter
