Does what I expected & bought in for.
Tried it for the first time on a Scout hike, the straps adjust nice and easily, and there's plenty of space for my items.
This is a reasonably well designed rucksack. The front pocket though, does not close. There are two long side pockets, which are perfect for my flask. The main compartment also has two deep pockets. The rucksack is protected from the rain by an in built cover at the bottom, a removeable cover on the inside, plus a cover/pocket in the hood. The latter perplexed me at first, as I didn't know what it's function was. A zip would be a better option than a 'roll-up' closure. I suffer from Spondylosis, which has caused neck/shoulder pain while using my old one. This seems to give a better weight balance, & I have not suffered like I did with the other. All in all, this is a quality item, & I look forward to using it a lot.
All good and as described
the backpack is the right size, enough seperate pockets and feels comfortable
Pretty good and well made for the price, hope to get good use out of it.
Really good quality product
Own brand rucksack with excellent range of faetures
Remains to be seen how complexity of the inner waterproof liner works in practice. May be turns out to be irritating until the very wet day that it keeps everything inside dry!
Nice rucksack and well priced. I like the removable drysacks, the fluorescent chest buckle (makes it easier to find and do up) and the various attachment bits. It has really good internal size without being too large outside. The whole package is well thought out and comfortable to wear. The only thing I could criticise is the hip strap. The padded part is good and supportive but the strap itself could be wider.Overall, I don't think it can be beaten at the price - which was made even better by the sale.
Very good decent bag with great side pockets. The bag is ideal for work travel and trekking along the country side very spacious for all your things and comfortable on your back. Waterproof with extra shower cover. Definitely a recommended buy and a very decent price.
A really good comfortable day bag. The drysac feature is a good idea and the only thing I found was that the one in the lid was rather small and not removable (main one does come out) I found it easy to get a good fit as there is plenty of adjustment.plenty of storage with bungees on the back for wet gear etc and a map/notebook pocket on the back. For the price this is a really good buy.
Pros:Not a bad price in the sale @ £45, also got a further on-line discount using a voucher code.Looks good, it's comfortable to carry and appears to be well made.Rain cover and removable dry liner very useful extras.Cons:The dry liner/hood pocket only seals by rolling and clipping the liner so it's not very secure, would be better with a zip pocket. The front pocket has no closure.Personally I'd prefer the padded hip fins to be less bulky, I don't think they're really necessary on a rucksack this size.Personally I don't like chest straps so would like to be able to remove this, and the whistle on the buckle is a useless gimmick. The haul loops on the top pocket don't look like they would take the weight of lifting this when packed.Being picky, the reflective strips are too high on the straps so when the rucksack is on your shoulders they are only visible from above.Despite the criticisms I've made, none of them are too serious and I'm pleased with this. I would recommend this at the £45 sale price for someone looking for ~40 litre rucksack.
