I’ve had my Sportster for well over ten years and it’s never let me down on numerous motorcycle camping trips. It’s simple to use (instructions are provided), kicks out a good level of heat but can also be adjusted down to a reasonable simmer level too.
The big advantage over butane canister stoves (which I also use) is consistent performance even in lower ambient temperatures where gas stoves can loose power and, on motorcycle trips at least, you’re never stuck for fuel. I’ve found it does run cleaner on Coleman’s White Gas but unleaded petrol is fine too.
