We opened a brand new store at the start of December in the North Yorkshire town, Middlesbrough -  a perfect spot for our North East walkers! We couldn’t be happier to back in such an outdoor loving part of the country and are thrilled to hear that you feel the same!

“We have a prime location on an intersection of Lindthorpe Road in the main shopping hub of the whole city, and are delighted to be back in Middlesbrough. The initial and continued reaction from customers is fantastic with everyone saying they are over the moon we are back and how we’ve been missed.” Nik Hodges, Area Manager

Why is it in a perfect location? Well, there are so many great destinations in this area for you to explore. Whether you’re a local or have travelled to see the delights of the North East, we are here to help you get the gear you need before you head out onto your chosen route through this beautiful part of the country.

It’s so close to the North York Moors, a charming National Park with trail after trail we can’t wait for you to explore. Here are just a few trails in the area to get you started.

Lord Stones Walk

It may only be a short 3 mile walk but there is plenty for you to see. Take in Middlesbrough, along with the Cleveland plain, Roseberry Topping and Cook’s Monument in all their glory with a stunning panoramic view along this adventure walk. Visit the ancient stone that gives this route its name and learn about the heritage of this beautiful park.

Saltburn Valley Gardens

If you prefer a more leisurely stroll, the Saltburn Valley Gardens are full of beautiful paths and tracks surrounded by a mixture of planted gardens and natural, yet tamed woodlands. You can choose between a 2 mile planned walk or take off on your own route to enjoy. Finish off in the classic tea room in the Valley Gardens or take in the fresh air along the sea front. The perfect destination for a gentle walk.

Roseberry Topping and Cook’s Monument

If you need some inspiration to keep going on this 7 mile walk a monument of the explorer Captain Cook should do it along with the iconic Roseberry Topping – perfect picture moments. A more challenging route with some steep ascents, but a great choice for a day outdoors.

Bransdale Loop

If you really want to trail into the middle of no where, then Bransdale is a beautiful remote setting surrounded by farms and accessd only by a single road. The perfect choice for an undistrubed cycle trip with just a village at the south of the route. Take in the stunning views and peace and quiet that only nature can bring.
