Dine Al Fresco

Dine al fresco

Eating is always more fun when it’s done outdoors. Grab a rug, a selection of sandwiches, tubs full of strawberries, chocolates and other treats, a handful of friends (optional) and take your children for a picnic. Find the perfect spot – a smooth ground away from all the noise of city life, with an amazing view, or even just in your garden and you’re set for an afternoon of absolute bliss.

Keep it cool

Nobody likes to get to their grub to find it all warm and soggy. If you store it right, then nothing can go wrong… a part from maybe a seagull swooping down and stealing your well prepared lunch, but that’s a different story. Cool bags are a life saver when it comes to keeping your food and drink fresh, so make sure you get one before you plan your next picnic.

Keep it hot

Spice things up a bit and take a stove or a BBQ. Who doesn’t love a BBQ? Grab a few sausages, a couple of burgers, along with a can of something cold and you’ve got yourself an idyllic scenario. The kids will be fascinated to watch you cook outside. We have a great selection of compact stoves that will easily fit in your daysack so you can enjoy a mini barbecue with your friends and family – perfect right?

Mix it up

Struggling to think of something different to munch on other than sandwiches and typical BBQ grub? Ever thought of having Chilli Con Carnie or meatballs and pasta and Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert? We have all these and more. They simply need heating up on your compact stove and they’re ready to eat. Who says you need to be on a camping trip to enjoy camping food!

Keep it civilised

If the idea of sitting on a rug among the bugs is slightly off putting when you're trying to eat, then grab a table and chairs. Just because you're not sat on the floor doesn't make your picnic any less of a picnic. Do it how you want. As long as you're outside who cares.
