Dummy run for camping trip....Looking good!

Decided to have a go at putting the tent up in the garden pre-trip, as its years since I went camping.
It was surprisingly quick (about 15 minutes-not bad for a virtual novice!) and seems pretty sturdy.
As the weather forecast was for some heavy showers and wind it was the perfect acid test.
I admit,I retreated to the comfort of my own bed indoors but this morning, after a wet & windy Cornish night,I found it still standing where I'd pitched it and perfectly dry inside.Brilliant!
I'm now looking forward to my trip with confidence!
Thoroughly recommended!

Great, easy to pitch tent

As a novice camper I was extremely pleased with how easy and straightforward this tent is to pitch. The advised pitching time is 7 minutes which seems accurate (it took me nearer 12 as I was being overly cautious). With a hydrostatic head of 3000mm in my experience it has kept all rain out and allowed for a comfortable night's sleep. The only slight drawback is it's dimensions. At just over 6 foot tall I was only just able to lie down straight in the tent. I also feel it would be a struggle to fit a second person in the tent, however, for solo camping it has proven to be perfectly good.
