I have had a nightmare getting back in to climbing in my late 40's. I have wide feet that are pretty square (right foot has a longer 2nd toe). In my 20's I used to cram my feet into tiny, tiny shoes, but can't do that any more...
These are great, good for wide feet, secure with 2 velcro straps, seem to break in quickly and I like the rubber. The only other shoes that I have found to fit are the Shaman Pros but they take ages to break-in, cannot be resoled and I don't like the Trax SAS rubber as I find it too hard for indoor.
